2008-2009 Deirdre’s House Corporate Council
Established in 2006, The Corporate Council of Deirdre’s House provides assistance and financial support for the Center’s on-site medical program. This program provides children who have been abused and/or neglected with medical diagnosis and treatment. This service is provided on an immediate basis, free-of–charge. The providing physician has completed a special fellowship in the diagnosis and treatment of child victims, and is also trained in the gathering of forensic evidence of abuse and neglect. In addition, she is the expert witness of choice should the child’s case go to trial.
